Knockderry Country House Hotel, by Loch Long, Argyll & Lomond
The project involved the design of a new brand for the hotel, to be carried through to stationery, menus, etc, as well as digital marketing and the design and development of a brand new website.
Building on the hotel’s existing extensive photographic library, our in-house team photographed the hotel, interiors, food and some of the surrounding area, building up a vast image bank to use on social media platforms and website.
A new logo was designed to represent the attention to detail and quality of the hotel, its sophistication and its location by Loch Long. Knockderry was Romantic Hotel of the Year in Scotland in 2016 and the pair of herons represent the lovely intimate atmosphere of the hotel, as well as being a nod to the the birds that can be seen on the loch, across the lawn from the hotel.
We designed a fully mobile responsive website featuring striking imagery and a colour palette representative of the logo as well as the hotel’s charm and atmosphere. Additional mages were displayed in gallery format to allow visitors to get as full a view of the hotel as possible. The WordPress content allows the hotel to update information as and when required.
The overall website is packed full of information, including offers and events, with a focus on a simple browsing and enjoyable experience.
